Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Sound Icons and any purchase you make here. By placing an order you accept them.

Seller details to be completed: legal name, registered address, company number and a contact address. Until this line is replaced, this document is incomplete.

What we sell

Licences to use icon files. Everything sold here is digital: there is nothing to ship and nothing arrives by post. An icon is delivered as an SVG and a PNG; a bundle is delivered as a ZIP archive — the same archive that was uploaded to the catalogue, not a copy rebuilt from its contents.

Your account

An order belongs to an account, so you need one to buy — including for icons priced at nothing. A free order is an order: it is what your licence and your downloads hang from.

Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think somebody else has it.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in your currency, converted from our base currency at the rate stored with your order. The rate that applies is the one recorded at the moment you order, and it is kept with the order so that what you were charged can always be reconstructed.

Payment is taken by card through our payment provider. We never see or store your card number: it is handled by the provider, and what reaches us is the fact that a payment succeeded.

Delivery

Immediately. Your files are available from your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, and an email confirms the order.

Download links are signed and short-lived — they expire a few minutes after they are issued — so a link copied out of your browser will not work later. This is not a limit on how often you may download: sign in and take a fresh link whenever you need one, for as long as you have an account.

What you may do with the files

See the licence. In short: use them in commercial and personal work, for as long as you like, with no attribution required and no expiry.

The drawings in this catalogue come from Tabler Icons by Paweł Kuna, which is published under the MIT licence. That licence travels with the files and is included with every product. We do not, and cannot, take away rights the MIT licence gives you.

What you may not do

Use our systems to attack, overload or break into anything. Resell access to accounts. Present the shop itself — its pages, search, previews or bundles — as your own.

Refunds

See the refund policy.

Availability

We try to keep the shop up and the files downloadable, and we do not promise that it will never be unavailable. Catalogue contents, prices and bundles can change; a change never affects an order you have already placed.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Otherwise, our liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost work, lost time — arising from the use of the files.

Changes to these terms

We may change them. The version on this page is the one that applies. If a change matters to orders already placed, it does not apply to them.

Law

To be completed with the seller's country of establishment: the governing law and the courts that have jurisdiction follow from it.
