What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Seller details to be completed: legal name, registered address, company number and a contact address. Until this line is replaced, this document is incomplete.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address, your name if you give one, a hash of your password — never the password itself — your preferred currency, whether your email has been verified, and when you last signed in.
Your orders. An order number, what was in it, the amounts, the currency, the exchange rate used, and the times it was created and paid. Not your card details. Those go to our payment provider and never reach us.
Messages you send us. If you write through the contact form: your name, your email address, the subject, the message, and the IP address the message came from. The IP address is kept for one reason — telling a person from a flood of automated spam — and for nothing else.
Email delivery. Whether the messages we send you were delivered, so that a purchase confirmation that failed to arrive can be found.
What we do not do
No advertising. No analytics. No third-party trackers, tags or pixels of any kind — there are none on this site. No profiling, no automated decisions, and your details are never sold or rented to anybody.
Why we are allowed to hold it
To perform the contract you entered into when you bought something, which covers your account, your orders and your downloads. To meet our legal obligations, which is why records of sales are kept for the period tax law requires. And for our legitimate interest in keeping the shop working and free of abuse, which is what the spam check on the contact form is for.
Who else touches it
- Our payment provider, which processes your card payment.
- Our email provider, which delivers order confirmations and password resets.
- Our hosting provider, whose servers in Amsterdam run the shop and hold its database.
Each of them acts on our instructions. We do not send your details anywhere else.
How long we keep it
Your account and its orders for as long as the account exists, except where tax law requires a sales record to be kept for longer. Contact-form messages for as long as they are useful for answering you and for spam control.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you; to correct it; to delete it; to give it to you in a portable form; to restrict what we do with it; or to object to processing we base on legitimate interest. Ask through the contact form.
You can also complain to the data protection authority in the country you live in.
