Sound Icons

About

Last changed

A shop for interface icons: single icons, and bundles of icons grouped by the job they do.

Where the drawings come from

Honestly, because you would find out anyway and it changes what this shop is worth to you.

The catalogue is built on Tabler Icons by Paweł Kuna, an open-source icon set published under the MIT licence. Every product here carries that licence, with its attribution, and it travels with the files you download. The drawings are not ours and we do not claim them.

Then what are you paying for

Not exclusivity, and not the right to use the drawings — the MIT licence already gives you that, from us or from anybody else.

What is for sale is the work around them: a catalogue you can search by name and by tag, previews that show what a drawing actually looks like at the size you will use it, bundles picked so that a set of screens can be finished from one purchase, files kept in one place under an account so you can fetch them again in a year, and a licence stated in one place instead of assembled from a repository.

If that is not worth money to you, the set is free and we have just told you where to get it. We would rather say so here than have you discover it after paying.
